Foyers can be a tricky area to tackle with styling. It’s the very first interior of your home guests see and it’s always important to make a good first impression! So, to help you out… Here are some of our favorite looks for styling your foyer!
– Mudroom Style. This is great if you need to stay organized! Having shelving, hooks, and baskets is perfect for a family and keeps everything in its place while still appearing visually clean.
– Simple bench. Everyone needs a place to sit and out their shoes on! A simple idea is just a plain bench with colorful pillows, adding baskets underneath for any storage purposes.
– Green and clean. This organic looking setup would be gorgeous in a modern farmhouse! We love the rustic looking bench, neutral colors, and pops of green!
– Small space solution. If you are crunched for room, all you need are a few baskets and a rug to make your entrance warm and inviting.
– Gallery wall. If you are looking to make a statement, maybe try a gallery wall. The beauty of gallery walls is that you cannot really mess them up! Just used color coordinated items and fill them on a wall like a puzzle!
– Shiplap. You could also steal a page from Joanna Gaines’s notebook and create a shiplap-centered foyer. Add a small shelf, mirror, and rustic decor to mimic the HGTV star!
– Built-in bench. Going along with the simple bench theme, this is a great option if there is an awkward small cubby near your foyer that you have no idea what to do with. There are plenty of tutorials online (like this one) on how to create a built-in bench.
– Elegant classic. This style is great if you are trying for a more upscale, less rustic look. This pretty settee is complimented by dainty details in the table, fresh flowers, and flooring.
– Storage and signage. A super easy DIY is just to add baskets like these (find them here), some greenery, and a pretty sign!
