A Bit About Poncey Highland

Poncey Highland is a district of intown Atlanta just south of Virginia-Highland, known for being the site of the Jimmy Carter Presidential Library and Briarcliff Plaza. Established sometime right before 1930, the neighborhood gets its name for being at the intersection of Ponce de Leon Avenue and North Highland Avenue. Over the years, Poncey-Highland and its surrounding neighborhoods have become known as trendy areas close to the Atlanta Beltline.
